Who are we?
Description is interpreted as the strict indexing of the fictional, poetic or dramatic work to the referential data, which itself can be marked by a greater or lesser uncertainty. Description represents phenomena as perceptive phenomena: it supposes a point of view of perception. It is therefore a fundamentally narrative element which, inserted into lyrical or dramatic pieces, introduces the image of the narrated world into that of the commented world. Objectivist poetry retains the image of the narrated world, outside the reminder of a fixed point of view. The genres of the commented world do not question the seen, which is precisely obvious; narrative genres attempt, through description, and against the primary function of the latter, to suggest this obviousness.
